Maintenance Technician - Service Team

Our company is seeking a Full-Time Maintenance Technician to provide outstanding laundry maintenance to a variety of customers, including our own laundromats, apartments, fire stations, veterinary offices, hotels, etc… We provide hands-on training and factory-authorized training on repairing laundry equipment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Service & repair commercial laundry equipment

  • Diagnose equipment using hand tools, and multi-meter, while using schematics and manuals

  • Troubleshoot problems independently with the use of online or phone support

  • Deliver equipment and supplies

  • Work independently and with others

  • Practice efficient time management and be able to formulate an effective work plan

  • Remove/Install heavy commercial laundry equipment

  • Machine installation may require bolting machines down, grouting, leveling, and testing

  • Operate a forklift, pallet jacks, and hand tools

  • Complete work orders, tracking time involved and parts needed

  • Occasionally out of town and overnight is necessary

  • Perform on-premises/building maintenance of our laundromats

  • Drive a company vehicle between locations. Occasionally assist with laundry pickups and deliveries

  • Order parts and complete inventory as necessary

Job Qualifications/Training

  • Knowledge of basic mechanical, electrical and plumbing preferred

  • Knowledge of how to use a digital volt multimeter and basic hand/power tools

  • Able to lift/push/pull 75 lbs without assistance or restrictions

  • Ability to stand, walk, kneel, squat, crouch, crawl, twist, bend, and push/pull without restrictions

  • Satisfactory background check and drug testing

  • Valid driver's license and good driving record

  • Ability to use the internet to perform basic research

  • Ability to withstand exposure to noise, heat, cold and wet conditions

  • Ability to audit and collect funds from vended laundry equipment
